Learning From My Betting Blunders
Posted in Casino on 02/04/2010 04:21 pm by Gloria1st to clarify why I write this article. I have been gambling on the internet or at land based betting houses for many years. I have learned, the addiction can take a hold of you and you will not even realize it up until you are bankrupt. Especially if you’re on a winning streak. I have gone through many thousands of dollars in only a tiny period of time and still on occasion, I’ll go a bit too far. It seems you are just having a blast until you start to be aware of your squanderings and the anguish settles in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can get it back" constantly. It does not works. Then you become sick in your gut and the more you attempt the quicker you are deprived.
When you see that you’re up, STAY on the UP! When you begin to lose, do not say to yourself, "well perhaps one more" and again and again, trust me, this concept almost never ever functions. Say you’re betting on slots, have a bankroll set to the side before beginning your play. DO NOT exceed that limit, no matter how alluring. If you happen to win, put that in a different canister. Don’t use your successes no matter what. As soon as you’ve gone through your original set limit, stop. Leave, whether it’s on the internet or at a land based betting house, do not stay around. Always keep in mind, there is going to be a different day, a different time.
Always remember, gambling is supposed to be FUN not exhausting, sickening work! If you are not enjoying yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcan’t manage the loss, don’t even begin.
